Abstract :In the learning of reading, it is important for students to exchange their ideas, thoughts and comprehension after reading. But the traditional Japanese language classes have not had many such activities. So in this research, I adopted the actvity of reading reports, in which the students summarize their own understanding and feelings about the book. Prior case studies haven't given the students sufficient opportunities to express and know each other's feelings or opinions about books. Therefore, in this study, an improved form of reading report and the electronic bulletin boards were employed in order to activate the students to interchange their ideas after reading. The result of this study is that the students have made progress in their reading and writing skills and have deepened their thinking.
